New users of Shoutcast are often confused when they see the message 'Server is currently down' on the DNAS page.
It may seem counterintuitive, but this does not mean that the server is offline or that there are any problems with your server. It actually means that the server is ready and waiting for you to connect.
If when you go to your DNAS page, it show up like this, then it is in fact online and ready to accept your stream.
If your Shoutcast page looks like the image above then please follow the instructions provided to connect to your server, once you connect to your server is will show as 'online'.
