I will be performing an update on the systems used for stopping/starting streams today. All shoutcast streams will need restarting, but this will only cause a few seconds of downtime and then the servers will come back up automatically.

This is intended to resolve any issues with servers randomly stopping as reported by a small number of customers.

The restarts will be performed over the next few hours.

UPDATE: This is now complete on all servers apart from USA3-VN which needs some more work before the change can be made. Updates will be posted here on any maintenance. This will be within the next week.

UK1-VN (Value network) seems to have gone down a couple of times for a few minutes. This is being worked on. Updates to follow. No other servers are affected.

UPDATE (22.15): It seems that most people are in fact able to access the server. I’m unable to access the support system for the datacentre that the server is hosted at so have opened a post on WHT here http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=906052

UPDATE (00:33): It seems that they are experiencing a DDoS attack, this is being worked on, please consult the link above for up to date info.

UPDATE (20th 18:12): There does seem to be some buffering for some listeners, I have been assured that the network is being worked on to get it back to full capacity.

Due to load on the server, I have restarted httpd which will have caused a couple of seconds of downtime on streams.

The server wasn’t suffering, this was done as a precaution to avoid any problems in future (if left, the server would have froze up and caused more downtime).
