Due to slowness, I have had to restart the server s3. This only affects those using the FreeStreamHosting service. You may log in to restart your streams if they don’t come on automatically.

Please note that we never allow servers that are used for paid customers to get overloaded in this way – we have to get a lot of streams onto the free stream servers in order to make a small profit and this means that they sometimes need restarting. The main problem that we have is that a huge number of people sign up and start their servers then never use them again, I’m working on a system that detects servers that haven’t been used for 48 hours and shuts them down – this will reduce load on the servers enormously.

  1. Thank you for your comments, I know there have been a couple of issues with the free service but I am working on this and hope to have a much more stable system next week.

  2. This may be slightly off-topic, but I’m having issues on s1 connecting to the control panel to check my stats. It is VERY slow and sometimes times-out after a minute or two. The streaming player seems to be ok, but just getting to the site login page and anything beyond that takes forever or fails to connect.

In any case, I also want to thank you for providing this service. 🙂
