Our USA Premium network servers are hosted in New Jersey which has been badly hit by a hurricane. This has resulted in the outages of different internet carriers which is affecting our servers in that location and causing loss of connection – about an hour ago, we lost the lastworking link so there is now a complete outage.

The staff at the datacentre are working on getting service back to normal but unfortunately there is no ETA currently.

Apologies for any inconvenience caused by this but I’m sure you can understand the sitution.

Our datacentre is moving the location of two of our servers used for our own websites, control panels, billing/support area and databases.  This will cause an approximately 2 outage of our websites at the following times (no customer servers or websites will be affected by this).

Websites: Sunday 23rd September, 8AM – 11AM

Databases: Sunday 23rd September, 8AM – 11AM

For the above periods, the support area will be closed. When the websites do come back online, you may experience MySQL errors for a short period.

Although this won’t affect any customer services, we are aware of some customers that are still using old links to their radio streams that are hosted on http://mixstream.net/stream/xxxx. Links hosted on the stream servers themselves (for example, starting with http://uk1-pn.mixstream.net/xxxx) will continue to work as normal, excluding authentication services and geo-locking during the database move.

Just added new Geo Lock feature to the Premium Network streaming service so you can now limit which countries can listen to your stream. Anyone outside of the authorised countries will see a message explaining that the service is not available in their country.

If you want to use this then log in to the panel at http://streampanel.mixstream.net, and you will see a new Geo Lock link under your server settings. As this is an advanced service, we don’t plan to add it to Value Network servers just yet.

Hello,

We are making some changes to the mailing list and need to delete all of the emails that are currently registered. Service updates were previously hosted on the same WordPress site. This resulted in 1000s of email addresses being hosted on the mailing list which has started to slow down delivery of important announcements – sometimes by several hours.

If you are using any of the following services then please re-subscribe your email address at http://status.bellonline.co.uk/mailing-list/

Web Hosting, Shoutcast, AutoDJ, Transcoding, Dedicated Servers (you can view a full list of categories on the site)

If you are using FreeStreamHosting.org then please don’t sign up for this mailing list, you will be sent another email shortly with further instructions.

As before, you will be sent a link to confirm your subscription and choose the categories you’d like to sign up to.

We recommend that you choose updates for the server(s) that you are hosted on to avoid receiving emails that don’t affect your service. If you are unsure about which server(s) you are on then please open a support ticket and we will be happy to get the information for you.

Regards,

Bell Online Ltd- http://status.bellonline.co.uk/

I’ve added an alternative link for the flash player so that it can still be used whilst the server is being worked on. The temporary link is http://mixstream.net/flash/SERVERID:PORT

Change SERVERID to your server ID (e.g uk1-pn or usa2-vn etc)

Change PORT to your port number (e.g 8000)
