There is currently a network issue affecting several servers (see categories) with significant packet loss. This is being worked on and the datacentre staff should have the issue resolved shortly.

 

EDIT: I’ve called the datacentre and they have their engineers looking in to this. We don’t have any idea of how long it will take before normal service is resumed but we will update you here as soon as we know.

Due to the recent problems with this server, we have had to set up a new server and swap customers across.

If you are using the hostname uk3-vn.mixstream.net for your source settings and listener links then you need to take no action as the address will automatically update to the new server.

If you are using the IP address (83.170.76.56 as opposed to the hostname uk3-vn.mixstream.net) then you have two options open:

1) We recommend that you change your settings to the new IP address which is 78.129.227.10

2) If changing your IP address causes problems, then you can continue to stream to 83.170.76.56 as we are keeping the server online for those who are unable to change. This server is being renamed to uk5-vn.mixstream.net. Resellers should use the control panel at http://uk5-vn.mixstream.net from now on.

We hope that this satisfies all affected customers. The reduced load on the old server should improve service for customers that use it and those that choose to change will also be hosted on a much faster server.
